I’m sorry. Please forgive me. Thank you. I love you. Have you heard of the Hawaiian prayer for healing? Ho’oponopono is a healing mantra that can change your life on all levels. It’s simple and it works. Use it to forgive yourself and others. Try listening to my Hooponopono Mantra video on Youtube and/or repeat the words yourself.
Ho’oponopono is an ancient Hawaiian tradition that was once used to heal physical ailments and it literally means to make right or to correct.
The Healing Mantra from Hawaii
I’m Sorry
Please forgive me
Thank you
I love you
It’s that simple. Just repeat and let the healing magic do its work.
I’m sorry deals with repentance. You regret doing wrong to yourself, your body, your loved ones, or whoever it is that you wronged, consciously or otherwise.
Please forgive me obviously deals with forgiveness. You’ve accepted responsibility for your actions and you’re asking to be forgiven. You don’t have to physically ask the person who you have wronged or has wronged you, you simply have to state it and genuinely seek forgiveness.
Thank you is expressing gratitude that you have been forgiven. It’s not so important whether the person has actually forgiven you. This is an exercise that you do yourself and doesn’t require the approval or forgiveness of others. It is done, we’re thankful, the negative energy is released and we are thankful and grateful.
I love you is LOVE, and love is powerful. It’s a powerful energy and is essential to happiness.
I’ve seen the order of the statements said in different ways but I don’t think it matters a whole lot. As the four powerful statements become a mantra and are repeated it doesn’t make much difference. Having said that, I find the order that I listed above to feel the most right for me.
Notable people to have used and or promote the powerful hooponopono prayer include Dr Hew Len, Joe Vitale and Mabel Katz.
There’s a whole bunch youtube videos also promoting the use of the famous Hawaiian healing mantra. Check out my version on the I am Affirmations Youtube channel here. Let me know how the prayer has helped you.
